Cross-docking is for freight that doesn’t need to sit. Inbound trucks arrive, freight is sorted, consolidated, or deconsolidated on the dock, and outbound trucks leave the same day. The result is less time on the floor, less handling, and faster transit times — without giving up the flexibility of consolidating multiple shipments into a single delivery.
Beyond the core operation, we layer in value-added services where they help: labeling, repackaging, inventory checks, custom reporting, and last-mile delivery. Whatever helps your freight reach its next stop in better shape than it arrived in ours.
-
What's the difference between cross-docking and warehousing?
Cross-docking is designed for inventory in motion — freight comes in, gets sorted or consolidated, and goes back out, usually within hours. Warehousing is for inventory at rest. We offer both, often on the same site, so you can mix and match based on what each shipment actually needs. -
Can you handle reworking like labeling or repackaging?
Yes. Sorting, consolidation, deconsolidation, custom labeling, quality inspections, and configuration changes are part of what we do. Most projects benefit from at least some reworking on the dock — that's the whole point. -
How fast can freight move through your dock?
Most cross-docked freight is in and out within the same day. We schedule to minimize dwell time and align inbound arrivals with outbound dispatch.
